Most of the thinking that goes into landscaping and decorating a yard deals with how it looks, but if you have ever been in a yard and realized that it smells wonderful, you also understand how great it can be to landscape your yard with the smells of the plants in mind. The great thing about making an effort to landscape your yard in such a way that it smells nice in addition to looking beautiful is that many of the plants that smell nice do, in fact, look beautiful; furthermore, a number of these “smell good” plants are easy to take care of, and you will not need to worry about watering them any more often than you have to worry about watering everything else in your yard.
If your yard includes an herb garden, you will want to make sure you include spearmint; spearmint is also beneficial in that it gives you a delicious addition to many of your favorite dishes – and even if you do not have an herb garden of your own, you can distribute spearmint among some of your other plants.
